Accessibility

We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This is an ongoing goal rather than a claim that every part of Wool has been independently audited or is currently free of barriers.

Accessibility is considered in design, development, and review. Current measures include:

• Semantic headings, landmarks, labels, and keyboard-accessible controls.
• Visible focus states and text contrast designed for legibility.
• Support for browser zoom and responsive text and layouts.
• Reduced-motion behavior that disables non-essential motion and sheep animation.
• Status text and accessible names for interactive transcription demonstrations.
• Testing with automated checks, keyboard navigation, and common assistive-technology patterns.

The desktop application interacts with operating-system permissions, global shortcuts, and third-party applications. Accessibility can therefore vary by operating system, application, and assistive technology. Some animated product demonstrations may communicate information more clearly in their accompanying text than through the visual itself.

The website is designed for current versions of major browsers with JavaScript and CSS enabled. The desktop application is designed for supported versions of Windows and macOS. Older browsers and operating systems may not provide the same experience.

Include the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or device you were using when relevant. We will make reasonable efforts to respond and provide an alternative.
